Initial Postnatal Feeding Consultation

• Review your health history, birth plans & any current concerns related to you or your baby
• Observation of a breastfeed to assess milk transfer, positioning, and attachment
• Development of personalised breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding plan tailored to your needs and goals
• Assessment and support for concerns such as damaged or tender nipples, engorgement, mastitis, recurrent blocked ducts, or possible tongue tie
• Exploration of combination feeding or formula feeding, if desired
Follow-Up Postnatal Feeding Consultation

•For families who have had an initial consultation with Milk or have seen another lactation consultant and need continued support
•Convenient consultations in the comfort of your own home or via telehealth
•One week of follow-up support via text or email
•Update to your personalised breastfeeding and/or bottle-feeding plan tailored to your needs and goals

Additional costs for travel outside of 25km:
25km - 40km - flat rate of $25 per visit
40km - 60km - flat rate of $35 per visit
60km - 80km - flat rate of $50 per visit
